Nampa man pleads guilty to murdering his mother: former West Valley Humane Society Director

Levi Isaac Davis has pled guilty in Canyon County Court on Thursday for the murder of his mother in 2022.

Davis' mother was Karly Cantrell, the Executive Director of the West Valley Humane Society prior to her death. Davis, 27, from Nampa, was arrested the same day officers found Cantrell dead in her home in Middleton.

Davis has pled guilty to Murder II, a felony. The probable cause affidavit filed after his arrest stated that he was found at his home in Nampa with deep cuts on his thigh, among other injuries.

Davis will be sentenced at a hearing scheduled for December 1, 2023.
